Invisalign®: The Modern Alternative to Braces
What most people find least appealing about traditional braces is the metal. Not only do they look unsightly, particularly for teens and adults for whom appearance at school and in the work place is extremely important, they can irritate the interior of the mouth.
Fortunately, there’s a superior solution; one that’s less invasive and offers quicker results: Invisalign®.
This modern orthodontic method can comfortably, easily, non-invasively and quickly straighten crooked teeth and bridge gaps.
Instead of taking up to two years with traditional braces, Invisalign users typically wear their devices for an average of only one year, with some patients completing treatment in as little as six months!
Every case is different, which is why we offer a complimentary Invisalign consultation. We will, at your consultation, determine if you are a candidate for this amazing treatment.
During the course of treatment, you can expect to wear a series of clear, acrylic aligners. Each series lasts around two weeks before ‘graduating’ to the next set. Because there are no metal brackets or wires, there is no mouth irritation. Plus, the aligners can be removed for eating and cleaning.
Your Invisalign braces are custom crafted in a laboratory setting based on a precision mold of your mouth. At specified points during treatment, you’ll be asked to come in for a progress check. During your visit, the dentist will ensure teeth are moving in accordance with the plan, with adjustments made as indicated.
If Invisalign has piqued your interest, please give us a call. We’ll be delighted to arrange your consultation to show you exactly how Invisalign works, and help determine if it’s a wise option for you to consider.
It’s easier than ever to get the smile you’ve always wanted!
